I grew up in a small village. Fortunately had no exposure to junk food, the stress in childhood and household chores kept me active enough too. Things changed as I moved to the city (Mysore and later Bangalore) for my career.
As a Paying Guest, never paid attention to Nutrition in food!
Work stress was working on my health without my knowledge!
The mobile phone had stopped my mobility to large extent!
Working in shifts had shifted my sleeping timings!
Big cities made me a big fan of junk foods too!
Before I realized I was in the wrong direction, some symptoms were in front of me to stop. From clear skin to persistent severe acne! From healthy weight to overweight made me visit doctors and reports showed the existence of bilateral PCOD !!!
I did not want to eat pills continuously at that early age, so started exploring other options. Solution through "Lifestyle changes and nutrition" attracted me, as deep within I knew that it was the root cause of my health problem. That is when I learnt more, applied the things I learnt to myself to rebuild all the health pillars.
Increased activity and nutrition intake reduced my junk food cravings and lost the extra weight. When stress was handled well, I slept well to wake up and see my clear skin again! To cure the curiosity, I learnt more and the Health Coach certification also gave me the confidence to help many others who were struggling like me.
While most people understand the importance of good fitness and nutrition habits, many find it hard to achieve them on their own. I actively work with people in their pursuit of a healthy lifestyle and fitness goals. I offer practical advice, workout plans, and nutritional strategies.
I provide a holistic approach to healthy living and monitor a person's health and wellness using the 4 pillars of health - Food, Exercise, Stress and Sleep. I help people of all ages, social backgrounds and fitness levels.
