Post my Master’s degree in Computer Application, I embarked on a journey of an IT Professional in Bangalore, the silicon valley of our country. Those were the good days of IT! In due course, I climbed the corporate ladder and graduated from a Software Programmer to the coveted Delivery Manager designation. But the sedentary nature of the job, erratic work schedules, frequent eating-outs had a toll on my overall health & wellbeing and got me thinking is this what I signed up for…
Almost all my peers were suffering from myriad health challenges and were resigned to their condition. However, being a sports & fitness enthusiast all my life, I knew a turnaround could be possible, provided I take some concrete action towards it. I started reading & understanding more about why conventional medicinal drugs only addresses the symptoms and does almost nothing to treat the root cause.
During this timeframe, I came across the Wellness Quotient Community, and their holistic approach towards wellness impressed me. I associated and learnt the principles from them and could turn around my entire family’s health altogether.
As they say, “Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.” Today, I not only abide by the WQ approach but live to teach those principles to busy professionals so that they don’t have to compromise on their health while chasing success.
