my story
Like most people, I had led a routine life. I graduated from medical college, started working with multispeciality hospital in different shifts, got married and had a child. I gained a lot of weight too, which is natural after pregnancy, right?
But what was not normal was the problems that came along with it.
Got diagnosed with PCOS and started facing issues like bloating, hair loss, unwanted body hair and acne breakouts etc
Even though I am from a medical background I was not aware that, for PCOS mainly I need to do, is a lifestyle change and focus on fat loss, but based on my dr friend’s advice I tried different treatments but couldn’t find any difference.
Slowly started exploring more about PCOS and made required changes, that gave me motivation and direction towards wellness.
I realised I can help people in the area of wellness through making changes in their lifestyle like healthy eating, exercise, managing stress, sleep etc.
Down the line did my masters in nutrition and working with clients closely for more than 10 yrs now, helping them to achieve their health goals.
I have been working in areas like weight management, gut health, hormonal issues like PCOS thyroid, diabetes management and many more.
“Health is state of body, wellness is a state of being. ”
