I come from a family of doctors, so my life was always around health and fitness. There wasn’t a single day of my childhood that went without a morning walk and an hour of workout. But as I grew up and started college, my focus went on studies and totally ignored my health. My unhealthy eating habits peaked when I traveled to Australia for my higher studies. I never knew that my erratic eating, inclination towards fast food and sleeping habits would deplete my health.
My condition deteriorated subsequently post my pregnancy. I had severe acidity, heartburns, bloating, indigestion, etc. This lead to postpartum depression, anger, anxiety, mood swings you name it. I was diagnosed with acute IBS and went through allopathic, ayurvedic and naturopathic treatments and none of them yielded any relief.
My father, being a doctor tried helping me through medicines but his solutions only gave me temporary respite. In the storm of it all, i decided to dig deeper into the link between food and lifestyle. This got me interested in Nutrition and how taking the right nutrients can work as preventive medicine.
In my quest for well-being, I came across Wellness Quotient who helped me transform my life to a healthier living. I was amazed how clean eating and fitness could thrive my life. This interested me in exploring the world of nutrition, wellness and fitness.
My passion for helping people was born out of the personal battles I had with my health. I am passionate about helping individuals connect with their inner strength along with health and Nutrition. We go through simple healthier swaps for a long term healthy lifestyle with ongoing support.
