I am a TA consultant and mother of 4 years old daughter. I am staying in Bangalore with my In-laws. I was very worried about the health situation in my family as my husband was obese (96Kgs), my Father-in-law suffering from diabetes and my Mother-in-law having cholesterol which was at a border level. I tried many home remedies after searching into Google but there was hardly any change.
My husband tried crash diet, GM diet, etc. and I was very upset to see him very tired and craving for his favorite foods. He cannot do many physical activities due to some physical challenges, so controlling through proper diet was the only option. Fortunately, one day we met with my husband’s friend who introduced us to her wife who was a wellness coach and helping a lot of people for weight loss. We worked very closely with them on the weight loss program and my husband lost 15 Kgs of weight by making changes to his lifestyle and mainly by changing his eating habits.
While working with his wellness coach I came to knew that she also helps people with all kinds of lifestyle issues. I was very excited to learn about wellness and nutrition so that I can help my family and many other people who are having lifestyle issues. So I joined the wellness community as a volunteer and with experience and knowledge about wellness and nutrition, I became a wellness coach.
