my story
I graduated in 2005 as a medical practitioner from Nashik University and then worked as a medical officer with many multi speciality and critical care hospitals. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly and became a firm believer that medicines and surgery can do all the magic.
Things changed for me when my younger sister, a software professional became overweight with high lipid levels at just 32 and my older brother-in law got chest pain at age 38 and had to be moved to emergency. I can still remember the deafening silence and the traumatic eyes of my family that day.
Surely medical services were available to treat them but that’s the time I thought
"Why did they land here in the first place?"
"What if all this pain could have been avoided?"
“What could have I done?”
That was a turning point and I started learning and researching more on food and nutrition and have been putting it to practical use for more than a decade.
Thomas Edison has said, "The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his or her patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease".
Happy to get along with one more principle of Edison. I believe good health starts with right food cooked in right way.
